I don't have a computer science degree or a graphic design degree, but I do hold a BA in Communications from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elon.edu\">Elon University<\/a> I also have a certificate in Graphic Design from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.living-arts-college.edu\/\">The School of Communication Arts<\/a> in Raleigh, NC (now Living Arts college).  Additionally, I have taken classes at local community colleges to learn HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript and Flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p> <br>ANYONE WHO STOPS LEARNING IS OLD, WHETHER AT TWENTY OR EIGHTY.\u201d \u2014HENRY FORD <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Lately, I have taken courses online to keep up with the rapidly changing technology. Just in the past year, I have taken many courses on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.udemy.com\/\">Udemy<\/a>. They offer courses for pay on different web technologies. Some of the courses I have invested in recently are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>WordPress Plugin Development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced WordPress Development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced jQuery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Website Accessibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced JavaScript<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modern JavaScript<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>React JS &amp; Redux<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced CSS\/SASS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of Udemy, I have also taken a course on React JS for beginners by <a href=\"https:\/\/courses.wesbos.com\">Wes Bos, <\/a>and a course on web accessibility through <a href=\"https:\/\/dequeuniversity.com\/\">Deque University<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is more learning than I did in high school or college! I happen to be in a filed where everything is constantly changing and evolving. In fact, I named my portfolio website<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inspired-evolution.com\"> inspired-evolution.com <\/a>for that very reason. Evolution is inevitable and we should be inspired by change (even if it means constant growth and learning).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have <strong>passion and drive<\/strong> you can succeed at anything. Even though my career has had it's ups and downs, I will continue to move forward and persevere.
